Out now the remix by Simon Fava & Yvvan Back of “La Candela Viva”, released back in 1993 by Totó La Momposina, is available on all stores.
These two young DJ and producers are even enhancing this masterpiece of the South American and international music.

When you listen to their productions (the two already teamed up in 2019 for their first single together “La Celestina”) you can easily understand how they picked sounds and grooves for this new version of “La Candela Viva” and why the remix is so well produced.
The original version needs no introduction and neither do the endless skills of multi-awarded Afro-Colombian artist Totó la Momposina, already delegate of Colombian culture alongside Gabriel García Marquez right when he was awarded with the Nobel Prize in Literature.
Totó la Momposina already boasts 3 Latin Grammy Awards and her “La Candela Viva” was awarded Best Folk Performance of the Year in 2014 at Premios Nuestra Tierra, one of the most important awards in Colombian music industry.
