On November 25 Milan will host the first edition of SIAE MUSIC AWARDS, an event to celebrate Italian most successful authors and publishers, both in Italy and abroad.
During the night, authors, and publishers of the most listened songs in 2022 will be awarded, divided in different categories: Best club song, Best song for dance clubs with live music, Best song for music venues, Best song for clubs with live music, Best radio song, Best Italian song abroad, Best Online song, Best movie soundtrack, Best TV soundtrack, Best Video Streaming Author, Best Audio Streaming Author.
Moreover, the Best Mega Concert Author (venue with over 5.000 seats) and the Best Concert Author (venue with less than 5.000 seats).
Nominations are based on music consumption insights certified by SIAE and on royalties distributed and paid during 2023.
Gala’s “Freed from desire”, produced and co-written by Molella and Phil Jay, has collected 3 nominations, since it ended up in the top 5 tracks in these categories: “Best club song for music clubs” and “Best online song”.
